2. ESTABLISHMENT:
the association was formed in the year 2003 as a coalition of tertiary institutions and operates under the Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education,
Science and Technology Development.
3. MANAGEMENT:
the association is run by founding members and a committee of lecturers from various tertiary institutions from all over Zimbabwe. The association accounts to the Ministry of Higher its affiliate membership and funders
4. CONCEPT DOCUMENT
Tertiary Institutions Festival of the Arts in Zimbabwe is a product of concerted effort by institutions of Higher Learning in Zimbabwe working hand-in-glove to promote and market the arts and cultural disciplines. The main founding principle of the association is to promote creative and innovative initiatives so as to develop employment creators than seekers.
